Mouflon is not a native game, was settled by Corsica in 1868-69. The districts that offer mouflon game in Hungary are located in the low mountain ranges Mátra, Bükk, Zemplén, Börzsöny and Pilis as well as in the Bakony forest. In the area of ​​the forestry administration PILIS there is an excellent stock of mouflons. In this area of ​​Hungary capital muffels with more than 90 cm screw length are not uncommon. Although mouflons are not easy to hunt, and also the hunting can be very exhausting, our hunting grounds offer the guests good chances to bring down the desired ram.

The best hunting season is from November to January but in some areas there is the possibility to hunt for mouflon in September.
